College football: greed on the backs of amateur athletes

After watching all the drama of conference changes by the major schools has shown just how much the presidents and athletic directors of these schools value money over everything else. TCU in the big east, OU trying to go to the PAC(and getting rejected), and so on is just crazy. I value education and most college athletes will never play in the pros but college football is nothing but a minor league for the NFL. The bowl system is not based on giving the players a fair shot at a championship, its based on making money which is why teams like Boise can go undefeated and not have a shot a playing for a national title. The greed and bowl system of this "amateur" sport have ruined the pureness of the sport to the point I feel guilty watching the games on TV knowing I am part of the reason the TV ratings are able to create such huge TV contracts which are fueling the greed of college football.

Eminem's Downfall

Eminem is one of the greatest artist of all time.... That being said, how can such a great artist fall so far. He has come out with more hits and sold more albums than anyone this decade, and yet he sucks now. Eminem is one of my favorite artists, so when I bash him, it's because he has just gotten lazy and so its warranted.
First things first, name an artist that could come out with 5 bad ass albums in less than 4 years, and never waiver in talent. Not to mention he starred in a fantastic movie in that time, and had many side projects with other artists that were awesome as well. Lets go through Em's career and see where the downfall began.
I don't know his early career that well, but I do know Infinite was one hell of an album. Then he hits the scene with the Slim Shady LP which was fucking amazing! Followed by his angriest album the Marshall Mathers LP. Then he comes out with Devil's Night with D 12 and its amazing as well. Just a year later he comes out with the Eminem Show which doesn't get enough credit. The album is more mature than em's previous albums, but just as entertaining and genious. Not only does he release a fantastic album, but he comes out with 8-mile, both a fantastic movie and a great soundtrack, which had his most critically acclaimed single 'Loose Yourself' to date. It didn't look like Eminem could ever produce anything but pure gold, and then Encore happened.
Encore I thought was a genius title for a sequel to the show, and I couldn't wait to listen to the album. Then the single 'Just Loose It' came out and that was the beginning of the end. That single probably ended up being the best track on the album, with Rain Man being a horrible buy funny track. Even D12's second album, World, sucked because of Eminem. The person who once made the band was now dragging it down.
The thing is, Eminem just got lazy. He knew he could produce shit and it would still sell. What a piece of shit. He is a millionaire and so I understand he's not angry anymore, but that doesn't mean it can't be good. The show was not angry but was still bad ass! He just got lazy and greedy, and so I don't feel bad for him in the least bit. He worked his ass off to get where he got and had to go through all sorts of prejudices to get on top, and he throws it all away for greed and laziness. All I can do is shake my heat and wonder why, and now he can only rap with a fucking accent! Relapse would be pretty good if he would rap like the old days, but apparently he is just to lazy to do it. He didn't loose anything, because he still does it periodically like in the last track Underground off of Relapse. So he still has it, he just doesn't want to try, or feels like he doesn't need to because he will still sell albums.
Eminem is still one of my favorite artists of all time, I just hate that he would throw his good name down the drain like that, all because of laziness and greed. Fuck Encore and D12 World!! Relapse is tolerable, but Em needs to get that spark back. He owes it to his fans, but most importantly himself. He worked to damn hard to get where he was back in 2002, and to throw it all away because of laziness just makes me ill.

Better Movie Reviews

Tried making a comment on last post, couldn't do it, but was so outraged I decided to post a blog. Step Brothers is fucking hilarious!!!!! The end sucks, but the rest of it is so quotable and great that I can't believe you called it lame. I literally want to rape that geriatric fuck for posting it.
Also, Tropic Thunder sucks balls. It was absoulutely horrible with one funny part in the previews. That movie was not only lame, but it was fucking horrible. It was not funny at all, really bizarre, and I wish I had that hour and a half back of my life to sleep or shit. Damn that last post pissed my off.
P.S. Pineapple Express was the shit (James Franco rules)

Upcoming video games to look forward to.

Resident Evil 5: Comes out in about a week. RE: 4 on the GC/PS2 was one of the best games for that console generation and possible had the best graphics for the gen. I've played the Demo and wasn't that impressed with the changes they made but it could turn out to be a great game.

DiRT 2: The racing game should be out in Sept 09. From the early screenshots I've seen, this game should have some amazing graphics.

Doom 4: Could be out in late 2009.

Bioshock 2: I'm interested to see where they take the story in this one. Could be out by Oct 09.

Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 2. I think COD4 was a great story mode and online multiplayer game but I didn't like how they didn't allow splitscreeners to play online.

Postal III: should make GTA look like a kids game.

Dead Rising 2: Will be set in a casino instead of a shopping mall this time. The first one was fun but had some issues. I hope they add co-op.

I am Alive: The only non-sequal on the list. Is set in Chicago after a major earthquake brings the city down. I don't know much about the game but it sounds interesting.

Zelda: The next Zelda game will be on the Wii so I am already weary of playing it since I know already the graphics will be subpar and the controls will be annoying. But regardless of my thoughts on the wii, the zelda series has its ups and downs. Hopefully they don't try something to make if "fresh" like they did with Majoras Mask or Windwaker.
